My Alaska trip (years in the making) was wonderful. We limited this trip to the Kenai peninsula. While that’s a small part of the state, it provides lots of opportunities for hiking, camping, fishing, boating, kayaking, wildlife viewing, cultural encounters, etc.
I’ve started going through my photos and here are some of my favorites:

Love the baby moose pic! They are quite possibly the most akward things on 4 legs…but so cute!

you got to see whales? my husband’s dream is to see a whale - I have no idea why…LOL
wow, if the condition of that sign is evidence of what high tide and loose sand does, I wouldn’t want to go any further anyway!

Alaska has long been on my list of places to go…I’ll be sure to check with you before I actually do it and you can tell me the best places to go.
