I knew I was opening the door to this when I made the offer that you suggest what I should write about. Aymiee said, “I’m curious about what ever happened to the ex-girlfriend you met up with a year ago or more?”
Hmmm, that was actually about two years ago now. It’s hard for me to believe that much time has gone by…. So here’s the really short version: We emailed. We chatted online. We stopped chatting. The emails dwindled to a trickle.
There’s a new world coming. Universal Orlando announced yesterday that they plan to open The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at their Islands of Adventure theme park. But don’t line up for tickets just yet; it will take a couple years to build and may not open until summer 2010.
I’m not a fan of theme parks [or anyplace with big crowds], but I do enjoy the Harry Potter series of books and movies. And the brand certainly has potential for some really good interactive experiences. [Can I be on your Quidditch team, Heather Anne?]
