So… back during the first week of July (such a distant, faded memory now…) I got to spend some time at the beach. I watched the sunset almost every night and took way more photos of them than is in any way sensible. [Blame it on going digital] And on this night as I stood near the water’s edge some girl comes strolling along. And suddenly I realized, “Hey, THAT’s a pretty cool shot.” So I shot. [Right place, right time, crime of opportunity?]
And now that I’m getting back into the daily grind of a new school year, I want to drift away….

Let's do Something Cheap and Superficial
That’s a GREAT shot. As for the drifting away…oh yessssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
Beautiful sunset
… can’t believe school is starting up again!
too bad she didn’t trip or something. that would have been it even better.

Beautiful picture!! Got to grab those when you can!
Here in Michigan, we have a state law that bars public schools from starting classes before Labor Day. My “friend” is a high school history teacher and he doesn’t even go back until late next week (though he did have a writing seminar all this week). He got screwed out of a classroom this year and has to rotate amongst three rooms throughout the day. That’s got to suck.
Have a great school year Tim!!
We’re actually starting later than we have for the last few years because there is a new state law that prevents us from starting more than two weeks before Labor Day. ~Tim
That is so beautiful! Happy HNT!!
AWESOME!!!! loved the pic… where are pics of you ???? that is MY question…
I much prefer staying behind the camera. There are some glimpses of me in the archives and I will peek around the other side of the lens again eventually. ~Tim
Beautiful and romantic, Happy HNT!
I love the beach!
THis is a great picture
HHNT!!
I’ve been in that back to school fog myself. Not my favorite place to be. I’ll be in a much better place once my room is ready. Speaking of which, I really should get up to school… Have a great weekend!
Great shot! It looks like a postcard…
That is such a fabulous photo!
I haven’t been to a beach in ages. Makes me want to go. Nice photograph!
Happy HNT!
