Sadly, if it wasn’t for the Vietnam War, I wouldn’t be here today. I also am thankful for their bravery. My dad fought bravely alongside the US. When the US started to pull out in 1973, my dad knew we were in jeopardy. I was only three when we crossed the Mekong River and eventually landed here in the States. I know I would not have the opportunities that I have now. Yes, thanks for posting this…

Another great list, Tim! I racked my brain again tonight, but I’m still having internal process problems coming up with my own 3-SP. I did blog about it tonight! Maybe soon I’ll get past my block. After all, it’s only 3 more days till Thanksgiving break!

I get some of my best ideas not by starting with a theme, but when I hear a song I try to think of how it might relate to other songs. But the theme also can just be three of your favorite songs! ~Tim

I didn’t even hear Brothers in Arms until it was used in The West Wing. The music director for that show–Snuffy someone–always selected great songs for great moments.

Did you ever consider military service in your own life’s path?

My dad was Air Force.
