This time of year most of us in the northern hemisphere are bundling up to keep warm. Here in central Florida the temperature has been dropping all the way down into the 40s(F) at night. Brrrr! (heehee)

I don’t miss the single-digit or sub-zero temperatures, but a freezing temperature here really does feel colder than it did up north. Still, some of us acclimate better than others. A few weeks ago on the morning TV weather forecast the reporter encouraged everyone to put on their winter coats. At the time the temperature was 59°(F). Give me a freakin’ break!

Anyway, here are some comfortable clothes to wrap up in. The songs happen to be by excellent singer/songwriters too, so that gives sort of a double theme to the set.

The song titles link to YouTube videos and the artist names link to their official web sites.

    1. Neil Diamond rocks my world.

Neil Diamond rocks everybody’s world — some people don’t know it and others won’t admit it, but he does! ~Tim

    2. hahah.. 59°(F) .. cold! I lived in FL for 4 years and you are right, I don’t remember it ever getting so cold that I would put on a winter coat. Now the summers, I just could’t acclimate to the humidity.

Yeah, I like warm weather, but the summers get harder for me to tolerate every year. ~Tim

    3. I heard it’s that cold in Hawaii right now, which is really rare. I think it’s colder than normal everywhere, but it is amazing how quickly you acclimate to warmer temperatures for 59 did seem cold to me and now i’m living in a place where 39 was the high today — and it was also raining!
