I am always sometimes critical of the blocking software used by school districts. [Recently here, for example.]
Imagine this:
I’m at work. I go to Google and search for “Magna Cum Laude”.
Imagine my surprise. The search results are blocked.
The reason?
Porn.
Yup.
You gotta love the system!

Well yeah we cant be looking at cum while at work afterall sheesh!
LOL You would have gotten naked sorority girls with…well you get the picture!
Oh yeah, as soon as I realized why it was blocked I had all kinds of pictures in my head! I find it especially ironic though because we typically refer to a student’s cumulative records as their “cum folder” (pronounced kyoom). ~Tim

Try getting reprimanded by the district office over “Death of a Salesman” or “breast cancer.”
I wonder what would happen if I Googled “destroy my boss” or “burn the building.”
So far no one has said anything to me about any of the blocked sites I’ve run into. But maybe it’s because you wield more influence than I do that they leave me alone…. ~Tim

I guess it might be “too much work”, but I’m surprised your school doesn’t have a different set of restrictions for teachers vs. student accounts. Still… it’s funny. Very funny.

“Wield more influence”? Are you kidding?
No, I think they are afraid to reprimand you because they are inTIMidated by your genius.
Nah, I frighten children and small animals but that doesn’t take genius… just height. ~Tim
