I usually stay away from politics, both here and in my 3D world. I admit to being a cynic and I find the term “politics” more often than not to be a dirty word. Politicians do and say outrageous things. And yet [or perhaps as a result] it seems to take more and more for us to feel outraged.

You really do not want me to comment on this. Olbermann lights my fire and makes me jump up on my own political soap box. (For the record, my degree is in Political Science and I carry a passion for the process, etc – for me to respond with everything I would want to say would take more than this box will allow me to type. Oy!!!
If the comment box is too restrictive you could write a post on your blog and I’ll link to it. I don’t expect everyone to agree with me and I don’t agree with everything Olberman says, but I think he does make some valid points. [And I think he is intentionally controversial in his special comments....] ~Tim

I’ve never been into politics. I used to very liberal and really didn’t care about what was going on around me. But then I had my little girl and started being outraged when I found out that pediophiles actually have rights! or that Illegal immigrants like Jose Medellin who rape and kill our children have rights?? I’ve gotten a lot more conservative than I would have imagined. And I can’t stand the fly by media – CNN, ABC, MSNBC — its so biased and one sided. Furthermore, I can’t stand the name calling on each side. I think it lowers the prestige of the office of the President. Yeah.. I should stop talking now.
