I had an MRI this morning. So that’s one more experience I can cross off my list of things to do before I die. I won’t get the results till I see the doctor next week, but from the way my recuperation is progresing I’m hopeful he will tell me to just keep taking it easy for a few more weeks.
My shoulder is still very sore but I’m managing on over-the-counter analgesics, ice, and rest. I don’t wear the sling all the time and I’m starting to be able to move my shoulder a little. I even managed to brush my teeth with my right hand the last two days. Even though I can manage pretty well left-handed there are some things that just don’t feel right with the non-dominant hand. Brushing my teeth is one. I’ll spare you the details of another, but there’s a clue in the title….

Let's do Something Cheap and Superficial
lol, a sense of humor is always beneficial to recovery. good to see you haven’t lost yours.
didja fall asleep in the MRI or was the clanking too much? i think i have fallen asleep in them more than once.
I zoned out a little, but I wasn’t comfortable enough to sleep in there. ~Tim
Oh, my.
Glad the MRI didn’t traumatize you. Overmuch.
Nah, it was a piece of cake. A claustrophobic, noisy, uncomfortable piece of cake…. ~Tim
All I can say is ouch. I lied. That’s not all. i also want to say feel better soon. Now I believe that is all.
Ouch. I think I’m going to have to have an MRI of my shoulder soon. I’ve injured my rotator cuff and I’ve been living on Aleve for a couple of months which isn’t helping.
I hope you heal up soon and that your results don’t show any significant damage!
Tim, I’m sorry to hear you are damaged!
I’ve had an MRI and an ambulance ride too.
We match!

Too bad we couldn’t have both won a million dollars. That would be a more fun way to match! ~Tim
You have a bucket list already?
I hope your shoulder gets better quickly. Both my folks had rotator injuries and I know how much it sucks.
And thanks for the virtual cake!
I don’t really have a bucket list. It’s just that when I have an experience I don’t really want to repeat I like to say I can cross it off the list of things to do before I die. [and you're welcome!] ~Tim
I had an MRI done on my knee and I was so thankful that I didn’t have to go all the way in. I hope they’re able to figure out what’s wrong.
Wow, I am sorry you were injured.
Several years ago, I had rotator cuff surgery, it was a long recovery.
MRIs and ambulance ride … neither are fun.
I never knew I was a claustrophobic until I had one. UGH….I now know that I am.
I hope you are on the mend.
Take care and have a good weekend.

I do hope your shoulder is back to normal soon. I just read Becky’s crappy day and I hope you aren’t referring to something in that area in your title. Have you thought about purchasing an electric toothbrush?
Oh, I like your million dollars idea–let’s do that next, shall we?!
