A colleague suggested today that we could earn money by writing a Guide to Cell Phone Etiquette. “We only need one page,” I said:
Turn the damn thing off!
I know, however, that there is no money to be made in writing such a guide. Who would buy it?
Besides, it’s not simply a matter of providing rules of etiquette. Our school has a policy that student’s phones must be turned off and put away during class. Students know the rules. Do you think that stops them?
Oh, if only it were this easy….

Let's do Something Cheap and Superficial
sure would be nice though ,huh?
oh, and as the wife of a firefighter i cracked up over that version…
Oh, that is so funny. My favorite is the guy demonstrating the seat belt.
OH that’s soo true. I hate cell phones. I actually get soo annoyed if I get a call.. I seldom even have it on me. When I was growing up, my parents gave us quarter(s). There were payphones on every block. I had better memory those days, too. Who makes an effort to memorize anyone’s number anymore?
I’m ashamed to admit that I have a hard time remembering phone numbers even for my family members ever since I started buying phones that remember them for me. ~Tim
