I send my words
to wiggle their way
into your mind
into your body
Feel my hands
my breath
Squirm a little
and I know
I’ve reached you
It’s not so much a poem
as it is a seduction
I send my words
to wiggle their way
into your mind
into your body
Feel my hands
my breath
Squirm a little
and I know
I’ve reached you
It’s not so much a poem
as it is a seduction

I have two words.
Oh and my …..
Thanks, Karen. [checking my Karenese-to-English dictionary... mmmm hhhmmm] Thank you very much. ~Tim
I like that! *wiggles*
Thanks, Laura. ~Tim
Ha! I’m not sure if I should be giggling or turned on. LOL
Thanks, Ganymeder. It’s okay to be both. ~Tim
If the words have to “wiggle” into our minds and bodies, they must be as big as a worm.
Ok. But, maybe you should send bigger…words.
Lovely poem, lovely seduction!
Thanks, Marisa. That’s funny. In earlier drafts I had “worm” instead of “wiggle” in that line. I’ll work on finding words that correlate to the size of my… seduction. ~Tim
very well said, for the seduction is so much more pleasant to give into than being dominated.
Thanks, Lime. I think it’s because with seduction you are joining in more than giving in. ~Tim
Lime sent me, so a thank you to her. As long as the worms don’t have pointy heads that pierce. But I do remember the seduction of a poet…though it was more of a song, he sang it to me walking me home from a dance…it wasn’t his song either but he made it his own and gave it to me. He made me love Sarah Vaughn [sp?] too, or her version of it-Garden in the Rain…1954 midnight on the roads were wet from a summer shower.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a wonderful note, Moannie. [And thanks to Lime for pointing you here.] I’m pretty sure I have a Sarah Vaughan CD that I haven’t listened to in ages. I’ll have to dig it out and see if that song is on there. Meanwhile, I popped over to YouTube and listened to Diana Krall’s version of it. Lovely. ~Tim
